Nicole is proud to join the Sports Medicine Team at Achieve. A Doctoral Graduate in Physical Therapy from Ohio State University, she spent her undergraduate years at the University of Florida as a scholarship NCAA Gymnast, culminating her career being a part of the D1 1st place team at 2013 Nationals. She was also a 4 year Academic All-American, balancing the work of being a student athlete and progressing toward her PT degree. Nicole grew up in Naperville and was a gymnast for 20 years. At Ohio State, and through rotations, she was exposed to a combination of orthopedic sports medicine, outpatient joint replacement, cardiac rehab/acute care, pediatric orthopedics (focused clinical at Cincinnati Children’s) and more. Her focus, clinically, is diagnosis and biomechanical analysis of injuries, a focus on foot/ankle and spine, especially those related to performing arts medicine. She has a strong empathy for athletes going through the psychological aspect of return to play, having been through personal injuries including foot/ankle, wrist, hip labral surgery, and spine injury. She will treat patients at both the Naperville and Burr Ridge locations, as well as outreach to sports clubs in the community.
