Jon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. During his undergraduate internship, he had the opportunity to work alongside the UIC Sports Performance team, where he played a key role in supervising and assisting with the implementation of training programs for several UIC athletic teams, including Men's Golf, Swimming, Cross Country, Basketball, and Women's Soccer and Tennis. This hands-on experience helped him develop a strong foundation in sports performance. Jon grew up playing basketball and baseball as a youth athlete on the north side of Chicago. As he progressed, he shifted his focus to basketball, where he achieved two sectional titles and a super-sectional appearance in high school. Jon remains an active athlete, training daily for his recreational and Pro-Am basketball leagues. He finds great fulfillment in training individuals of all ages, as it allows him to gain new perspectives on life while helping others improve their physical health. Jon is deeply passionate about promoting the importance of daily physical activity, particularly as a means to enhance quality of life. Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time with family and friends watching football and basketball. He also has a variety of hobbies, including cooking, running, binge-watching shows, and playing in recreational basketball leagues.
