Katie Drenth grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and moved to Illinois for school. Sports have been a part of her life since she was born. Katie played soccer, basketball, volleyball, ran cross country, and track. The one sport she has continued to play is soccer, and she has been competitively playing soccer since she was seven years old. Katie played soccer all the way up to the collegiate level, where she played at Trinity Christian College, located in Palos Heights. Katie competed at Trinity for five years and then graduated from there with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science. In the Fall of 2024, she plans to continue her education at Concordia University Chicago and get her Master's Degree in Sports Nutrition. She wants to help athletes fuel correctly to get them to their full athletic potential. Also, she recently just started coaching at Trinity Christian College as an assistant coach for women’s soccer. One of her hobbies outside of sports is indoor cycling. She is helping out at a cycle studio called Height Cycle, located in Palos Heights, where she spends my free time cycling.
