Paul Magpayo is a Kinesiology major at the University of Illinois at Chicago and he is graduating with his Bachelor's degree in Spring 2025. He was from the Philippines in which he immigrated to the US when he was 7. As he grew up in Oak Forest, Illinois, he spent a lot of his time playing sports such as basketball and track. As high school ended, Paul started to get into the sport of boxing which became his favorite sport. He became an active fighter in which he became the Chicago Golden Gloves Champion in the spring of 2023. Now, he is the current coach/vice president of UIC's Boxing Club where he teaches the sport of boxing to many of the university's students. Paul loves his sports but he also loves spending time and taking care of his two dogs; along with several geckos, frogs, and snakes that are in his reptile room! After his undergrad years are finished, Paul is planning to further his education in health related fields!
